Werth has been producing robust, dedicated heavy turning systems for more than 30 years and Merritech preserves those machine build standards as the exclusive manufacturer of Werth Turning Systems. We supply single and multiple spindle designs in vertical, horizontal, and slant bed configurations. We can program custom parts with touch screen size adjustment, automatic gauging, automatic loading, and optimized tooling. As with all of Merritech’s machine build services, we offer our Werth customers superior engineering support, timely delivery, and complete technical service throughout the life of their equipment. Werth offers a variety of semi-standardized vertical (VNC) turning systems with the designations of 9-12, 12-18, and 12-30 representing the X-Axis and Z-Axis travels of the systems. The larger machines have larger spindle motors and greater gear reduction while also having more powerful servo drives to handle the larger and heavier parts. Merritech’s horizontal (HNC) and slant bed systems are all part specific and fully custom from the ground up with much of the same robust technology found on our VNC systems. All systems are available with CE specifications and with either block or turret style tooling.
